Blake Bietz '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Blake Bietz and I have been part of a wrestling team that has won the State Championship three years in a row. In four of those years I won three Individual State Title as well. I also took part in winning a State Football Championship in 2014 which has never been done in our school history. I understand the importance of being a team player and doing your part. I had the honor of being chosen Wrestler of The Year in 2015 & 2016 by the Mitchell Daily Republic.

    I have been on the varsity wrestling team since I was in 7th grade. I have a lot of experience at a high level of wrestling from placing every year at the state tournament since I was a 7th grader. I have been pushed to my limits before and I know what it takes to be the best.

    My education is also important to me. I know it takes discipline in and out of the classroom to be successful in life. I hope to use the tools wrestling has taught me in life to someday be affiliated with sports as my career, either as a coach or an athletic trainer.
