I am a two sport student athlete. I wrestle and play football. This means I have no off season. I am fully committed to each sport during its season by attending all practices and hustling my hardest. I also hustle and give it my all in the classroom. I currently have a 3.2 GPA. I am studying and I will see improvements in my grades just like I strive for on the mat. My coaches say they see me as a leader, and I take that seriously in the classroom and on the mat. This is my thirteenth year of football. This year I started on special teams and played strong safety in rotation. Last year our 14U Babe Ruth team won the Tennessee State Tournament and went on to place second in the Southeast Regional Tournament. I just began wrestling as an eighth grader. My football coach had to convince me to give it a try. I am so thankful that I did because I love it. I worked hard and learned as much as I could and qualified for state that year, my freshman, sophomore, and junior year where I placed fourth and then second and them 2nd. Also, as a freshman and sophomore I was voted most outstanding wrestler by my team. I earned the A/AA All State Wrestler 113lb my freshman year. I am focused, working hard, and committed to doing my best this year. My goal is to find a college where I can be an asset and continue to grow as a wrestler while taking engineer classes and paving my future.
