As a young man I feel like I've accomplished a lot in my life especially in my high school years. My dad was in the Army so we moved many times so its hard to plant roots in a community. My high school time was split between Harford Technical HS (Aberdeen MD) for 9th and 10th grade and West Creek HS (Clarksville TN) 11th and 12th grade. My time in High School was marked by me being a member of JROTC, JROTC Raiders A team, vice president of the construction club, Captain of the wrestling team. I come from a close loving family, my wrestling coaches and team mates became my family as we all had highs and lows, injuries and setbacks but we worked hard persevered and supported one another. So as an athlete I strive to be better every time I step onto the mat or enter the weight room. I really want to wrestle collegiately but I want to be a part of something special with great coaches.... not necessarily famous but coaches that will continue to mold me into a great wrestler and even better man... I also want to be a Army Ranger which is why I was interested in West Point because I would have the opportunity to serve my country, wrestle and get a education. what ever School looks at me and wants to know if I am a good fit for their school I want to share this.... I was beaten by all the top wrestlers in my district even at regionals but when I went to state I beat them all becoming a state medal recipient. Something I learned from my Dad who is a combat veteran is you don't always win every single match or race or battle but you have to win when it really counts.
