Personal Statement
My current goal is to be a National Wrestling Champion and I am working hard to train towards achieving my goal. I wrestle because I love the sport and I enjoy training hard. Not many guys would want to go back to J.R. Robinson's 28 day intensive training camp, but I would. My training for the last year (2014-2015) has included Off-Season Club Wrestling and Team Texas Camps before Greco and Freestyle Nationals; Star practices and private lessons (Mohsen Alirezaei); Next Generation practices (Kendall Cross), FHS practices (off season, summer, HS wrestling season).
I'm outgoing and likable. People always joke that I'll be a politician some day because I seem to know everyone and everyone seems to know who I am. I have a solid reputation and I am well liked by the referees, coaches and even the competition in my area.
I enjoy school. Speech especially. I made some recent changes in my daily life (last semester of my sophomore year) that will help me improve my grades for the rest of my high school years and as I go into my college years.
I am active in our youth group at my church. I learned a great deal from several mission trips over the years and look forward to many more. My dad, grandfather, uncle and cousin are all Dallas firefighters or are retired. My oldest brother is a Fort Worth police officer so I know what it means to serve my community.
If you are looking for a well rounded, coachable athlete that gets along with team members and is dedicated to my educational goals - I'm your wrestler.
