Parker Thompson '16 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer,baseball,football and Wrestled as I have grown up. I left soccer and baseball behind for football and Wrestling. I suffered a tib/fib fracture, commonly referred to as the Theismann fracture, my 8th grade year on junior varsity. It cost me my Wrestling season so I made the choice to leave football and dedicate myself to Wrestling. I have qualified for my state tournament all three years and finished 4th and 3rd my sophomore and junior seasons. My junior season I was 33-3 with each loss coming by 1 point. I won every tournament I entered except states and did not give up a single back point all season. Having been involved in athletics from such a young age I felt my best fit would be a career in physical therapy or physical training. Having been coached by my father since second grade I have developed the dedication, desire and determination to succeed in both athletics and academics at the next level.
