Personal Statement
My goal as a collegiate wrestler is to be the best. I will train on the mat, in the gym, or wherever it takes for me to get better. I understand that there are sacrifices that need to be made to become the best and will sacrifice whatever necessary. I believe I would be an excellent addition to any team because I understand that in order for someone to get better, the man across from them has to be pushing them everyday, and so I will not stop pushing the man across from me in the practice room to better him, and in turn, him better me. I have trained and competed with the best in the nation at the USA Wrestling Cadet/Junior National Championships in Fargo, North Dakota. At the Washington State Tournament, in 2014, I earned a 6th place medal and in 2015 earned an eighth place medal. I have received an award at my high school called the P.U.R.E. Chinook Award for demonstrating pride, unity, respect, and excellence inside of the classroom and in the community.
