Alex Miller '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been wrestling since I was seven years old. Since I first stepped on the mat, I aspired to wrestle at the collegiate level. I know that wrestling in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I am strong on my feet and difficult to take down. I try to lead by example while also encouraging my team mates,I strive not only to be a hard working wrestler but a hardworking person.I take part in many out of school activities and volunteer coach at my old middle school. I also try to encourage other athletes to have the same work ethic. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a good GPA. I am also apart of our highschool band ,a 2 way starter for our varsity football team in Youth 2 Youth ,Human relations , debate team , forensics team , Brothers Reaching out. I also took part in a college level political field study where I conducted extensive research and used this research in my paper. My goals in high school are to...win the state championship at 160 pounds and place at pre season nationals. I have aspirations to be a national champion All-American wrestler ,and I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that. I am looking for a college that will give me the opportunity to prosper in their program.
