    “SNC Cross Country team's get new coach General - Thu, Sep. 22, 2016 I am pleased to announce that Uros Kogal will join the athletic department of the college as our new Head Cross-Country and Conditioning Coach. Uros comes to SNC Tahoe from Maribor, Slovenia, where he was a professional athlete in the sport of decathlon. More recently he has been coaching several teams and athletes in the sport of Track and Field, Cross Country, Soccer, Skiing etc. As an athlete Uros spent 11 years on the Slovenian Track and Field National Team. He was also a repeat Slovenian National Champion in decathlon and heptathlon. He was also the top European athlete in those two sports. After completing his professional career he started coaching Track and Field and Cross Country athletes. He was coaching some of the best European athletes in Italy, Czech Republic, Slovenia and he was working at Bommarito Performance System Team in Florida which prepares American athletes who want to qualify for the USA Track and Field team. Uros also owns a private corporation that works with professional athletes from all sports. He privately coaches top European and World teams and athletes in the sports of Cross-country (Cross-Country Club Poljane-several top European runners) , Track and Field, Tennis (Polona Hercog and Tadeja Majeric WTA top 100), Alpine Skiing (Klemen Kosi-Top 30 Downhill skier in the world), Soccer (FC Maribor-regular member of Champions League), Snowboarding (Slovenian National Team-Rok Flander, Top 10 Boarder-Cross athlete) to name a few. He holds a diploma from the University of Maribor with the title "Professor of Philosophy and History". He moved to Tahoe with his wife and two children. Go Eagles!”
