What the Coaches are Saying...
Mar 15, 2019

“MU began XC/Track back in 2014-15 as part of the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association). In the fall of 2016, we joined the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) of the NAIA. Established in 1936, Multnomah, is a small, private Christian university located in the heart of NE Portland. We are a campus that takes our Christian faith seriously and are looking for individuals who are open and committed to exploring God's role in his or her life! Head Coach Corey Mehl took over in the summer of 2017 after being an assistant the two previous seasons. In the spring of 2018, MU had its first ever NAIA National Qualifier in the Men's Marathon in the Outdoor Track & Field Championships. We are building RAPIDLY. We are looking for distance athletes, sprinters with jumping or hurdling ability, combined events athletes (heptathlon/decathlon) as well as throwers. Be a Lion! Help us establish and build your legacy here at Multnomah :)”

—Coach Corey Mehl
