Personal Statement
I love baseball. I love the feeling of game day, sitting in the dugout, and preparing for the game. I love that baseball is a game of details. The smallest thing, only a fraction of a second, and the entire outcome of the game can change. I think that because of that baseball truly is similar to life. The lessons it teaches, and the wisdom that is imparted by playing the game well and very important to how we live our lives. I've had to overcome the challenge of missing my sophomore year due to an injury, but i believe that there is a lesson there, and i can use that experience to grow and improve myself. My main goal is to play baseball as long as I can, while also obtaining an engineering or pre med degree in College. My ideal school would challenge me athletically, but would also propel me to greater success academically.
