My name is Logan Johnson. I am an upcoming Junior at Crenshaw Christian Academy in Luverne, Alabama. I am on the college-prep track at my high school. I am interested in Sports Medicine. I would like to attend a four-year college to pursue my bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine. I am also thinking about Graduate School after I receive my bachelor's degree.
I am the varsity catcher for my high school baseball. This past school year I was the primary catcher, catching all but two of the games (regular season and playoff). The other games I pitched. My freshman year, I caught more than half of the games. My secondary positions were right field and 3rd base. I have been playing baseball since I was three years old. I love the game. In the years before I started playing JV and Varsity baseball, I was a member of two state champion baseball teams. I have participated in many other state tournaments as well. I even went to the World Series when I was younger.
In all my years playing baseball, I know I have to work hard. I know that as catcher, I lead the others on the field, making them aware of where the play should be, keeping them informed of the number of outs, etc. I love the position and I love to be a leader on the team. My goal is to play at the next level of baseball.
