Sports became part of my life when I turned 3 years old and started playing tee ball. As much as I love the sport, I love being part of a team. I've experienced friendships and leadership skills that I might not have developed without the game and being part of a team. Being a leader on the field led me to run for various officer positions in school clubs. My teachers and coaches often comment on my ability to command respect among kids younger and older than myself, both on and off the field.
Being a three-sport athlete has pushed me to keep in shape all year and excel with different team dynamics. I have been fortunate enough to be part of amazing youth, travel and school teams. I started on both my baseball and football varsity teams as a freshman. During my Freshman year I played both offense and defense and earn a spot on the All Region 1st Team. The only player on the team with more tackles was a senior who was 1st team ALL State. I also made All county in baseball that year. My sophomore year I made 1st team All Region, 1st Team All County and 1st Team All State.
I play both sides of the ball and love offense and defense. It is important to study film and know your opponent so I can be my best in the game.
My ideal program will help me develop the academic path I will take after college while allowing me to be part of a strong team atmosphere. I believe that my athletic talent paired with a strong work ethic, leadership skills and academic goals would help me be an immediate asset to your program.
