Personal Statement

Hello, my name is  Cody Santora and I am a Slocomb High School Senior, Class of 2013. I am 6 foot and about 170 pounds. I weight train with Steve "Hammer"  at Synergy Fitness to gain strength and speed to improve my skills. During my Junior year I was honored with the following local and state awards; WAC All-Conference, Dothan Eagle Super 12 Players in the Wiregrass and Honorable Mention All-State Player. Recently I was awarded the Alabama Student Athlete of the Year, by the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association. I earned a .416 BA with 37 RBI's and a 1.66 ERA walking only 9 batters in 48 innings. I can currently run a 6.8, 60 yard dash that I ran at the Troy University Showcase. I have a 3.9 GPA and made a 28 on the ACT.  I am a leader on my high school and Wiregrass Cardinals AAU Team, driving myself and my teammates to work hard and get better everyday. I live in Southeastern Alabama and would like to find a  school with good academic standards that offers my degree in Biology with a goal of becoming a Dentist. I would like to find a School in the Southeast but would broaden my search if neccessary. My goal is to be the best player and teammate I can be whether that involves going straight to a four year university or going to a junior college and then transferring to a university. I love baseball and strive everyday to get better so I can one day play at the next level.  I work very hard and am willing to work as hard as it takes to improve in baseball, my academics and my character.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
