Personal Statement

Hey coach, my name is Brody Wortham, I'm a upcoming senior at Randolph County High School in Wedowee, Alabama. I am a starter at SS. My collegiate goal is to obtain a quality education from a good college and to further my sports career playing baseball. Baseball has taught me that trust is the most important aspect of the game. It has also allowed me to show and evolve my leadership skills. I have a 4.0 GPA and am committed to my teammates on the field. I find myself to be different from other recruits because I can give you 100% no matter what I'm doing and will always strive to be the best.

Tall and lean athletic build, lots of room to fill out and get stronger. 7.22 runner, has clean actions on defense with soft hands and athletic footwork, good fundamentals and makes the plays. Right handed hitter, long and loose swing with some bat speed, line drive approach and will hit to all fields, consistent quality game at-bats especially against good pitching, hits the ball hard and shows some power potential. Excellent student.
