Chad Hunter '24 Recruiting Profile

Hey Coaches,

I’m CJ Hunter, a River Valley High School senior in Mohave Valley, AZ. I am at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA and enrolled in dual enrollment and honors classes. My academics have always been a top priority for me. For my high school, I have been a starter on varsity since Freshman year. Last regular season, I had a fielding percentage of .919, an on-base percentage of .574, and a batting average of .454. I have helped my team win two conference championships, was awarded First Team All-Region Position Player, and was nominated for Scholar-Athlete of the Year. 

My goal is to attend a university where I can get my degree and play the sport I love. Throughout my years of baseball, I have learned the importance of work ethic. I make sure I am putting in work on and off the field, in the classroom, and in the weight room. I have seen firsthand the type of work that needs to be done in order to be a collegiate athlete and I work towards that. My goal is to not only be a part of that but to help my team be successful.
