Garon Dreier '24 Recruiting Profile

Growing up in a family where sports were always a huge part of life, I was fortunate to have many different opportunities to play sports.  I currently am playing tackle football and baseball.   Baseball and football are my favorite sports.  I play for my school teams and club teams while maintaining a 4.67 GPA during my last semester in school.  

I had the benefit of working with my dad as a coach when I was younger who played baseball at Stanford.  He taught me to play hard wherever I am put on the field.  As a result, my coaches today can put me anywhere in the field and I can produce.  I am a clutch player where I am often put into a tough position when my team needs me to help deliver.  I have learned to maintain a cool head and focus on the next play in front of me.  I am committed to my practice schedules and I am usually the last person to leave practice.  Often, I am going to back to back practices and games and I never lose my enthusiasm for the next game.  I am excited to play under any conditions.  

I am looking forward to playing baseball in high school and challenging myself academically with the ultimate goal being to have the opportunity to play in college.  I would love to play baseball, football or both at a collegiate level at a school with a good athletic program and competitive academically.
