My name is Jaron Snyder and I am a Senior at Phoenix Christian High School in Phoenix Arizona. I was born on October 16, 2001 in Phoenix, AZ. I am currently 6'1” 180lbs. I’m a left hitter who throws right handed. Although I have been primarily a position player, I started transitioning to the mound my Sophomore year - where I feel extremely comfortable, I still consider my primary position to be short stop and my secondary position is pitcher. My speed and athletic ability has also given me the opportunity to play several positions on the field, including outfield. I've been playing baseball since the age of four and I absolutely love and respect the game. I've had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches and understand that without them I wouldn't be the player I am today. I also know there is always room to grow and I continually strive to be the best I can be. When I am not playing baseball or in school I enjoy dancing, working out and playing golf. I workout in some way about 5-6 days a week (weights, bands, hitting, throwing, dancing, etc). Interesting fact about me: I'm professionally trained in all styles of dance and have competed nationally and internationally.
When it comes to college I would like to major Sports and Entertainment Management and am extremely interested in playing baseball in college! Geographically, I am interested in the southwest region, but am open to all areas and would appreciate and respect any opportunity given to me to play college ball. My parents are very positive and supportive in all areas of my life, which includes choice of college and finding the best fit.
In conclusion, I would like to assure all of the college coaches interested in me that I'm a hard worker. I take pride in trying to be the best student, person, baseball player and teammate I can be. I am a leader on and off the field and am extremely coachable and I am always learning, listening, taking mental notes, applying corrections and not afraid to put in work!
