Baseball is a huge part of my life, it has been an amazing experience for me so far and I am looking forward to having it continue for years to come. Baseball has taught me many great life lessons such as leadership, good character and mental strength. I currently play year-round between my high school and club programs and I am confident I would be a great asset to any collage coach that is looking for a player that is a hard-working leader, coachable as well as a fundamentally skilled player.
When I started playing baseball I had ground to make up since I started playing little league baseball at kid’s pitch. It was then that I crossed paths with Chad Moeller (retired MLB catcher) which forever changed my life in the best possible way, baseball became my biggest passion as it still is today. I have worked individually with Chad for catching and batting for the past 6 years and still currently working with Chad as well as playing for his top high school club team, Team Dinger. I am fortunate to have Stephen Randolph (retired MLB pitcher) as my coach for Team Dinger. I have become a leader on Team Dinger as well as having the opportunity to catch high-level bullpens for Stephen outside of Team Dinger. I have had the experience of catching some high-level pitchers ranging from MLB pitcher Robbie Ray to MLB minor league pitchers, college and top local high school pitchers.
I won the MVP award on my high school team last season, I am team captain this season as starting catcher for the varsity high school team. I am also the team president helping my coach with helping manage the team.
I take my education seriously and am currently at a 3.83 unweighted GPA and a 4.30 weighted GPA since I take some advanced classes. I am looking to be in the medical field for my college education, as I am very interested in being a doctor.
My goal is to find the perfect college fit for me between education and baseball wherever that may be. I am looking for a college that will offer me the education that works best for my career as well as being able to play and contribute to the baseball program. Baseball is my life and I hope to work my way through to the top levels.
