Personal Statement
I have loved the game of baseball my whole life, whether it be playing wiffle ball with my dad in the back yard, or competing at a college level. Baseball has been important throughout my time in school, and has taught me many valuable lessons. I believe one of the most significant lessons has been learning how to be a good supportive teammate in times of hardship, and in times of success. Athletics have influenced my academic life by keeping me motivated in the classroom. With every decision I make, I know there will be consequences, be it good or bad. This has helped me maintain my focus both on and off the field. I see myself flourishing at any four year, not only with my studies, but also with a new and more demanding athletic environment.
