Personal Statement
I am a 6' 1", 185-lb. left-handed pitcher from Show Low, AZ. I am a sophomore at Glendale Community College in Arizona. I pitched 43 innings my freshman year at Glendale, I spent part of the season as a relief pitcher and the second half of the season as a starter. Transitioning from a division 3 high school to an Arizona JUCO player, was very difficult for me and I did face struggles my freshman year, but I feel those struggles made me work harder and boosted my confidence as a pitcher. I am spending my off-season working with our trainers to gain strength and velocity. I hit 87 mph during this past fall season of 2015 and I am feeling very confident that I can make a positive impact as a starting pitcher in the Spring 2016 season. I currently have a 3.62 GPA at Glendale and I am interested in a career in law enforcement. I hope to further my studies at a 4-year college that has a baseball program that will help me continue to develop into, not only the best pitcher I can be, but a positive teammate as well. In addition to baseball, I love to hunt and fish!
