I started playing baseball at a young age for fun, but as I grew older I became more passionate and competitive for the game. Baseball drives me academically, physically, and emotionally to become the best student-athlete I can be. I thrive on the pressure of being one of the key players that my team can look to in big moments.
My coaches would describe me as one of the most dedicated players and one of the purest hitters they have seen. As a sophomore, I hit .530 and was the most consistent hitter in the line up. Coach would also tell you if he had one player at the plate, with runners in scoring position and game on the line, it would be me. I hit .556 with runners in scoring position my sophomore year. My high school teammates would describe me as not only a friend, but a true leader on and off the field. My teammates look at me for help when they are struggling; I enjoy helping them get back on track at the plate.
I am passionate about playing at the collegiate level. I am open to any location as long as it is the right fit. My goal is to have a coach that will help develop me into the best player and person I can possibly be. I am still undecided on my major, but leaning towards a math and/or science based degree.
