Personal Statement
My main goal is to get to college on a athletic scholarship for baseball. I am not at the level yet to go to college for baseball but I am working my hardest to get there. I go to a pitching coach once a week and workout everyday even if I have to work on the family farm or if we have baseball practice for the high school team. My pitching coach is Chris Pozza who pitched in the Cardinals Organization for 6 years. At this moment, I am trying to gain more mph on my fastball. I am throwing 80 mph but want to throw 90. I know it's going to be a rough journey, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to be the best. I can't say I will be a good candidate for your team because I do not know what your team is looking for, but if you need someone who works hard, is always positive, and strives to win, I am the man you are looking for. I will work harder than any other recruit you have had before. I am not the best at the game right now, but that doesn't mean I can't be the best at the game later on. I will also work my hardest at my schooling because that is just as important to me and baseball is. I will need a job after college and my degree will help me find that job. I am the hardest working, smartest, most positive attitude athlete there is. My dream is to play college baseball and maybe even go further. Thank you, Zackery Holloway
