In addition to playing varsity baseball, I intend to graduate with a degree in Architectural/Mechanical Engineering and or International Business. Both baseball and engineering will be challenging and will require hard work. Fortunately, I have been taught by my family to emphasize excellence in everything I do. I know that my actions are a reflection of my character and values. I have been taught that it is my responsibility to maintain complete control of myself and my attitude. Excellence matters and great things can be accomplished through teamwork. Because of my ideas and academic achievements, I was honored to be chosen for the People to People Student Ambassador Program. The program was created by US President Dwight D Eisenhower following the Geneva summit on September 11, 1956. The top 100 leaders created the initiative as a means to ease Cold War tensions. Eisenhower sought diplomatic alternatives to the wars he witnessed as a soldier, general and Allied Commander. He knew that working as a team for positive change would improve international relations and believed in the value of positive leadership. Our moto is to promote peace through understanding and teamwork. Whether you are at a baseball field, classroom or leadership conference, the most important thing is to give it your all…FINISH EMPTY.
