Personal Statement
My name is Chase Alderson. I am a Junior at Mansfield High School located in Mansfield, Arkansas. I am eighteen years old. I am a christian athlete that loves to play the game of baseball. I stand at 5ft. 8in. tall and weigh 187lbs. My dream is to become a college baseball player, and eventually become a baseball coach. I love to work with kids and help them in becoming a better player. I also, play football. I am the starting defensive linebacker, punter, kick return, and my coach has been talking about possibly being the quarterback or running back. I do believe i have what it takes to become a college baseball player. I am realistic and also know that not every kid gets to go play D1, but i just want to play the game at the next level, no matter if it is a junior college. I just love to play the game. I bench 215lbs., squat 325lbs., powerclean 215lbs., and run a 4.95sec. 40 yard dash. I won all-district/all-conference as a sophmore and junior. I started my varsity team in baseball as a freshmen. I have been playing baseball since i was 4 years old. I can play any position that a coach will put me at, but my main positions are shortstop, third base, pitcher, catcher, and second base. I do have a lot of trouble at first base though. My desired major has yet been decided, but i will update it as soon as possible. My thoughts on my major are History, English, or a Physical Education class. My goals as an athlete is to have fun playing the game and helping my team accomplish a victory. I try my best at being a leader on and off the field. I am the defensive captain in football, and I step up as a leader on the baseball field as well. Like i said i am looking for any school to play baseball. That is my biggest goal is to play at the next level up from highschool. I hope to start hearing from coaches and thank you all for taking the time in looking at my profile!
