Joey Pinney '13 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'1  and weigh 215. I'm a Senior in high school at Central Arkansas Christian.  I played 3B & RHP on varsity my sophomore and junior year. I have spent my freshman and sophomore summer at IMG Academy playing in the  WoodBat League it was 7 weeks each summer where I trained with Ken Bolek hitting coach and  Steve Frey pitching coach and mental conditioning coach Josh Lifrak,  I was top hitter with hitting average .500.  I trained 6 days a week while at IMG Academy in Bradenton the mental conditioning helped improve my game the most. I love time on a baseball field whether practicing, doing drills or playing a game. I'm very "coachable" and I'm always looking for ways to expand my skills and knowledge of the game. I would not "rule-out" any particular area of the country. As a college baseball player my goal would be to become an important contributor to my team I would expect to pay my dues as an underclassman and most importantly I want to be in a situation where my skills continue to improve in all parts of my game. I have the drive to play anywhere the team needs me. I am very agile with quick feet. My dream is to play in Omaha CWS  2014.
