Baseball is a sport I have played since I was 3. I love baseball more than any of my friends as they don't find it interesting as much. Baseball is my life and passion. I have always wanted to be a doctor but have realized I would LOVE the opportunity to do it as a career!! I always give it 200% ON and off the field! I've made diving catches in CF but my only weak point is hitting. That is only because after my uncle passed away, I had to take a year off. I AM getting back to where I used to be in that section. I WILL do whatever it takes to prove myself!! I like to think that I am one of the best center fielders of my generation! I'm also a really good LHP but sometimes I will admit I think too much at times but I'm getting so much better at that everyday!! I've been getting so much better at batting lately, I've been working hard on everything for awhile! I can't imagine a life without baseball!! I have made a couple bunts down third base and outran the throw to first multiple times!! I've made a throw from centerfield and leftfield (2x) straight to home and got the guy out every time! I haven't checked recently but about a year and a half ago my pitching was up to a 63-64mph two seam. I do have a 4.0 as listed above, so grades are important to me. I would absolutely LOVE the opportunity for a chance at college ball. My ONLY fear is not trying for a chance I could've received!
My highschool in Van Buren is more of a "favorites game" when it comes to baseball tryouts... No matter how many diving catches, long throws out, or big hits I make, it doesn't help that the coach already has his players siblings picked out already. No excuses, so I still play summer ball, fall ball, and church league. Nobody can keep me from playing the game I love.
