Personal Statement

As a 17 year old high school Junior from Novato, CA, I am a 5'11" middle infielder, I have started on the varsity baseball team as the second baseman since I my freshman year.   In 2016, I earned a spot on the Northern California NTIS team to compete in North Carolina and was an alternate for the 2017 year.  I have a 4.2 cumulative GPA and I am enrolled in the high school Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Program (STEM).

My ideal university would be one where academics are a high priority with a baseball team that is very competitive.  I am a driven individual who wants to pursue baseball to the highest level possible and prepare myself for medical school.  Even though I am from California, I am very willing to attend a college anywhere in the United States at a D1, D2 or D3 school.

I see myself as a team leader where I like to challenge my peers to do their best and cheer for my teammates during games.  As a freshman on the varsity team, I still found myself in a leadership role along with the seniors.   As a multi-sport athlete, I was recognized as the MVP on the freshman football team, but have now transitioned to cross-country to compliment my baseball development.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
