Hello Coaches, 

My name is Yahya Hasan and I am a 6 ft 180 RHP in the 2024 class from Orange County, California, and I attend Fairmont Preparatory Academy in Anaheim, CA, where I play for Coach Danny Benedetti, and I am reaching out to you because I am interested in playing for your program and would like to contribute to the team's success. I have been playing baseball for 11 years and have dedicated countless hours to improving my skills on the mound. 

I believe that your programs would be an excellent fit for me because of their strong reputation for developing talented athletes and providing a supportive and competitive environment. Having grown up in Orange County, California, I have had the privilege of competing against some of the top baseball talent in the region, against players from the schools of Orange Lutheran High School, Villa Park High School, Mater Dei High School, and not to mention J Serra High School. The level of competition here has helped me sharpen my skills and develop a strong work ethic. I am confident that my experience and dedication would make me a valuable asset to your program. I can hit my spots, and can locate my pitches to where I want them to. I am committed to not only excelling on the field but also maintaining my academic performance. I understand the importance of balancing my athletic and educational responsibilities.

I am a 4.2 GPA student, and I have taken many AP classes to challenge myself and gain a better work ethic, and I am confident that I can thrive both athletically and academically in your program. Currently I am on the roster of Team Pakistan, and played at the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in Panama City.  Being at WBCQ and representing a national team taught me a lot of being a professional at an international competition. I learned about the discipline, work ethic, and responsibility as an athlete. As a professional athlete, you are entrusted with fulfilling specific requirements, and there is no hand-holding. You must take full responsibility for your actions, both on and off the field. This newfound sense of accountability has had a profound impact on my approach to the game and my personal development. I also recognized that I now have the opportunity to inspire other Pakistani Americans to pick up the game of baseball.

Playing at such a prestigious event at a young age has fueled my passion for the sport and instilled in me a strong desire to continue striving for excellence. I am committed to applying the knowledge and values I gained from that experience to further enhance my skills and contribute to any team I become a part of. I believe that my exposure to the world stage and the insights I gained from playing at the international level will not only benefit me as an individual but also make me a valuable asset to any program I join. I am eager to bring these qualities to your team and contribute to its continued success.
