Personal Statement
I think it would be reasonable to say that my most defining moment in the game had to have been my let down of making varsity junior year. While this is nearly almost expected of this class, I grew more and more as a person and as an athlete in this time; my serious lifting began and everything seemed to finally come together. My work ethic showed throughout the season, growing from a low 70 fastball now to a low 80, and still rising. This season spurred me into shape for a college-level athlete and prepped for next year's varsity squad.
Since completing my freshman year of college playing baseball at California Lutheran University, I have decided that I have not quite yet found my college home. After undergoing an arm injury and using most of the year to recuperate and do physical therapy, I have begun to get back in the saddle and return to my former self. I am looking to transfer to a team where I can make an impact, either now or in the future, as both a ballplayer and teammate anywhere the coach sees fit. I want to continue to both develop as a ballplayer and most importantly a student to ensure that no matter where I end out of college, I am prepped for success and have a strong relationship with my teammates, coaches, and most importantly the organization in which I played for.
