Benjamin Ullyott '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Benjamin Ullyott, I am a Junior at Frontier High School in Bakersfield California. I currently play for my travel team, the Kern County Royals and my high school team, the Frontier Titans. I became interested in baseball when I was 5 years old and have loved it ever since. I have gotten the opportunity to play many positions but specifically fell in love with the catcher’s position. Being involved in every pitch of the game has always been one of my favorite parts of catching. Through playing baseball for most of my life I have learned many different life lessons and characteristics that helped to shape who I am today. Baseball has taught me discipline and the importance of a good work ethic.  It has taught me how to not get too high or too low with my success and failures.
