Personal Statement
As the eldest child in my family I plan to set a good example to my little brother and little sister by finishing high school strong, with a good GPA and by receiving a college diploma. My family has never been through the best circumstances, which tends to be the case when most of your family was not born in the United States. However, thanks to all the obstacles that me and my family have had to encounter I have a tremendous amount of motivation to succeed. Whether it’s in the classroom or on the field, my goal is always clear to me and my goal is to succeed. I work hard to achieve my goals, I may not have been gifted with the most talent, or with the most athletic body or with the highest IQ, but I was gifted with determination and the will to succeed, and I use my determination and will to work on my craft every chance I get. My biggest fear is failure, and that is because my parents and I work too hard for me to just fail in life. Whether it’s on the field or in the classroom, I want to find success, I don’t want to have to worry about money like my parents do now, I want to be successful and I am willing to work as hard as possible to be successful.
