I envision myself playing baseball in college and being a student athlete.
I have received top level pitching instruction for the past 5 years with Coach Vikander, a Tom House certified pitching coach who also works with MLB and collegiate pitchers. I truly believe this training puts me ahead of many recruits. I have learned personal goal setting, the mental preparation for success, injury prevention, and how to be my own coach and self-correct between pitches. I have learned how to disrupt the batter by varying different speeds and commanding multiple pitches, including a nasty 12-6 curveball. This has been an inspiration and an invaluable education.
Since summer 2019, I have been working with Beimel Elite Athletics (former MLB player, Joe Beimel) who offers specialized pitching instruction using Driveline and Rapsodo technology and training to increase my velocity.
I have spent 4 years playing regularly and contributing to my team at St. John Bosco High School. I was a Pitcher and our team that became the Trinity League Champions in 2017. I am on the Varsity team and am a Scholar-Athlete. I am proud to have earned High Honors for five consecutive semesters and the respect of my teachers and coaches, all from playing the sport that I love.
Baseball has provided a way for me to grow, not just as an athlete, but also as a leader who has made an impact both on and off the field.
