I wish I would have started playing since I was younger but settled for it at the age of 11 when my first team reached the championship game in my first season. After playing infield and outfield, I pitched for the first time in 9th grade and figured out that it was my position after many teammates and coaches persuaded me to keep pitching after successful starts. Being in a losing team for most of highschool I've been challenged with putting more effort into my team. I wanted to make myself better first in order to make a contribution to my team so I changed my daily routine and learned (am learning) as much as I can. Throughout my time playing, this sport has taught me that pain is the one important thing that makes an athlete better. Losses, time management as a student athlete, and improving my skills daily. As a sophomore I injured my shoulder that caused my season to end and during the time of my injury I couldn't do nothing to help but did everything I could by going to watch practices and going to every game. My experiences taught me patience, hardship, perseverance, and commitment.
As for my future I want to earn my degree in business, at the same time compete for a team. I want to put everything I learned into a program in which I can one day become an important aspect of the team. I believe I have what it takes to become a part of your team.
