Receiving the high school mustang award and noticing all the changes that I had made through my sophomore year on my athletic standpoint and continuing to exceed in my academics truly has made the biggest impact and most memorable part of my high school experience thus far. From moving all around the diamond and working on my craft while putting in the extra hours, to continuing my great relationships with my teachers and helping me to move forward in achieving my next academic and life goals really is what got me to that point and seeing that recognition from all my teammates and coaches. Since I first started playing till now the ups and downs of the game have really shaped me into the person that I have become today. I have seen myself grow as a leader, team player, hard worker, and how much my good attitude and perseverance even when the game isn't going my way has helped me on and off the field. Throughout my academic process I have really learned how much my education means to me and I have learned what I became passionate about and what I want to pursue academically at the college level. My passion for my culture and my Hispanic side of my life has been a key factor of why I want to become a High School Spanish Teacher. Through all this and much more that I hope to continue to show who I am, hoping I have what it takes to be an asset and be able to earn a spot on your team.
