Personal Statement
My name is Robert "Parker" Elkins, class of 2014, It has always been my goal to play baseball at the Collegiate level. To facilitate my dream I know that I must always push myself, and improve my play in every practice and game, and show that I am an asset to the team I play on. I am a very coachable athlete and always maintain the highest standards in character both on and off the field. I know that it is an honor to play baseball in College and requires continual hard work both athletically and academically. I have included my Stanford Camp Evaluation and a Prospect Video.
STANFORD 2012 ALL STAR CAMP COACH EVALUATION: Parker Elkins - Overall 7/8 Comments: Really good prospect. Showed above average arm strength, good hands, and a fluid arm action. If his feet quicken, he can play MIF in college. He has a lean frame with lots of room for improvement. has a quick bat head and a good, mature approach. Stays low line drive and is aggressive in hitters counts. STANFORD 2012 ALL STAR CAMP INFIELDER EVALUATION: Parker Elkins - Current Rank (7) Projected Rank (8) Comments: He showed quick, active feet and does a good job of consistantly getting into a good fielding position. His pre-pitch movement is above average and his hands played well above average. His glove can be late at times. He plays through the backhand and there is some life out of his hand. He could use his lower body a bit more to throw. Overall, He projects very well.
