I love baseball and am passionate about playing the game. I am determined to play Division I college baseball and will continue to work hard to overcome my obstacles. I promise to put my team first and to dedicate myself to my coaches and teammates. I will be relentless in pursuing team goals.
I am looking for a college that offers a bachelor's degree in business, or one that would help me become a pilot with study in aviation, aeronautical science, or aerospace engineering.
During years of Little League, Little League All-Stars, travel ball and high school baseball, I have been a part of numerous championships and have succeeded at all levels. In school, I get straight A's and am very organized. Grades will not be an issue with me and I will continue to help my teammates, if they need help. As an athlete, I take pride in my athleticism and strive to be the best outfielder I can be. Whether it's by driving that runner in, by finding a way to get on base and get myself in scoring position, or by cutting off a ball in the gap to hold the hitter to a single; I know that I must be disciplined, focused and must always try to get better. I have had the great opportunity to play summer ball (leadoff hitter, starting outfielder) for current Division I Head Coach Reggie Christiansen, Sac State, who has an excellent reputation and knows how to win. To emphasize the quality team that Coach Christiansen has put together, one of my teammates, recently committed to USC. I have played, and driven the ball against, many Division I commits, as you can see in my videos.
More information about me and videos are on my Twitter @CalinTrexler. I sincerely hope that you think I have the potential to be a player on your team. I would love the opportunity to meet you.
UPDATE: I just played baseball this summer for an East Cobb Astros 16u team and trained at Rapid Sports Performance in Atlanta, Georgia. I am honored to have received my first offer to play baseball at a Division I University in California.
