Hayden NABERS '18 Recruiting Profile

HI, my name is Hayden Nabers.  I currently attend Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, CA.  I am class of 2018, LHP and 1B, and I am 6'3" and 213 lbs.

I just completed my Sophomore year at Oak Ridge High School where I played not only baseball but Football as well and I am getting ready to start my Junior year baseball season. Physically, I am strong and quick for a big guy.  In pitching, I have always been a starting pitcher as I am able to go deep into games while maintaining good control.  When I do not pitch I play 1st base.  As a hitter, I bat left and can drive the ball with power into all parts of the field. 

Right now my goal is to play baseball at the highest level possible at a school that best fits me.  I know that I consistently work harder at improving my skills than my peers.  I regularly work with my pitching coach Mike Hacker and my hitting coach Richie Kimm and do my own personal workouts on my own time.  Keeping my grades up is high priority so time management is the key for me. 

I enjoy helping people in need whenever I can.  For example, mission trips with my church and assisting senior citizens in low income housing centers.

I am interested in looking at a lot of different programs until I find the right one that is best for me.  I am very coachable and I know that whatever college I may be a part of, I will be successful on the field and in the classroom.
