Personal Statement

My name is Tyler Beckler and I am a 3rd Baseman and pitcher for Kennedy High School in La Palma. My goal is to go to a 4 year college and earn a degree. I am still unsure of what I want to study, but am leaning towards Athletic Training/Kineseology. I believe I would add value to any team that I play for. I have been told by my coaches that I am a teachable player. I am a good teammate. I am level headed and don't get let my emotions show on the field. I know I have room to grow and learn and am willing to do whatever it takes to get to the next level. Academically, I am an above 4.0 student, taking AP and Honors classes. I am on the Emerald Chain at school, which means I was one of the top 10 boys in my class and will graduate with honors. I would love a chance to show you what I can do and and talk to you about how I can make playing in college a reality.
