October 2017Personal Statement
My entire high school career was great at El Toro High School because as a team, we competed at a high level every year in the CIF conference. My two years at Saddleback Community College have taught me how to be a good teammate and scholar. I think I improved the most after my senior year in high school because I realized that college is no joke and is a big jump in competition. Playing at Saddleback CC has allowed me to see what good competition is and get me ready to play at a university for the next two years. I’m looking for a good athletic and academic fit for a college. Since I know that spots on a team are earned not given, it drives me to push myself to earn the spot that I want to play.
