My name is Jarrett D. Segura. I'm 6'3" tall with a 190 lbs frame. I play 1B, C, 3B, CO positions. My main positions are 1B and C. I currently attend Bishop Alemany High School and about to enter my Sophmore Year.This past year I have earned a 3.5 GPA in both my fall and spring semester. My goal is to play competitive college baseball and earn a degree in the field of sports medicine. What makes me different then other athletes is that I don’t just bring my physicality to the game but I also bring my knowledge and awareness. I have always believe in the term student-athlete because in the classroom and on the field are both equally important to me. By always relying on this rule it has made me become more committed to baseball and has allowed me to develop strong work habits on and off the field. I have been raised to always respect the game and to remember that it is a privilege to play baseball at any level and that I must earn my place within the team environment. With this in mind I can assure any coach that I will always play this game with everything I have for the name on the front of my jersey and not what is written on the back. I'm ready to become part of a program that can use my baseball skills to represent their school to the fullest.

- Each year, the Area Code Baseball Games gets underway with the Area Code Baseball Team Tryouts. The Area Code MLB teams will use the tryouts to select their final team that makes it out to the Area Code Baseball Games. The Area Code Underclass teams will be selected from those tryouts as well as from a few of the underclass-specific tryouts on the schedule. The 2021 Area Code Baseball Underclass Games will feature the top underclassmen from across the nation on six different teams.
