I believe i’m capable of greatness because I seek greatness for my life. As a young boy I showed evidence and signs of my journey to becoming a man when I chose to honor my mother and father. Also, when I began to take responsibility for my role in my family, as a teammate, and a peer. I’ve been influenced by mother and father, positive coaches, and books that speak about nobility, meaningful work, opportunities for adventure, and significant giving to others. I’ve discovered that the will and passion of my heart is to be a productive man of this world.
I envision my college years ahead as being a growth period both physically and mentally. A time to explore my academic goals and be a positive influence on and off the baseball field. Most importantly, I will honor my team, coaching staff, and school, knowing my decisions and behavior can reflect on all three.
Being part of team has taught me that leadership requires risk taking, and choosing the right type of risk requires wisdom. Wisdom I plan to share with my team.
