Hello coaches. My name is Erik Larson, class of 2019, RHP, 3rd base, 6’2”, 175#, El Camino High School, Trosky, SB Redbirds summer team, GPA: 4.16, and SAT 1210.
As a junior, I was a starting pitcher and third baseman for my Varsity 2018 season and awarded Pitcher of the Year recognized as the "work horse" of the team's pitching lineup. In addition, I was honored by the San Diego Union-Tribune as All-Academic Team.
In 2017, I was a starter for the Junior Varsity team, awarded Most Valuable Player and Pitcher of the Year. I batted third in the line-up and led my team in batting average. I was a leader in fielding percentage, and pitched against the toughest competition.
My freshman year I had the 3rd most strikeouts in the nation according to MaxPreps and was voted Pitcher of the Year for the freshman team.
Playing college baseball is a goal for me as well as achieving academic success. I hope to find a college that challenges me on both levels. I believe as a well-rounded student and a very coach-able athlete, I can be the perfect right handed pitcher or third baseman for your team.
