Alejandro Huezo '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alejandro Huezo, born in 2004 to Felix and Fabiola Huezo. I am from Palmdale, CA, which is where I was born and grew up.

I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old.  My love for the game has grown ever since the first time I set foot on the field for the first time.  Learning different skills through various coaches throughout the years.  I have played in little league and travel baseball ever since.  Becoming a student/athlete was instilled in me by one of my coaches in my younger years.  That mentality has resonated and has become my utmost goal in my young life.

Although I can practically play anywhere on the field, but I have grown the love of playing as a catcher.  Being a pitcher myself, I can appreciate the pitcher and help those on the mound accomplish the goals of a well pitched game.  I started off as a third baseman and I know how to play that position very well.  Growing up I then had to learn how to play first base, so I can be a complete player. Although I am always working hard at my catching skills, I continue to work hard at third base and my pitching skills.  

I look forward to playing at the next level in college or the pros. I know I will continue to work hard in school and on the field. Getting an opportunity at next level is my goal and I will be determined with any opportunity if given the chance.  I work hard to learn and I am extremely good teammate respecting the game we all love to play.  Being chosen to be the Varsity Baseball Captain comes a great responsibility to be the best teammate and leader that I can be.
