Personal Statement
My first two years of my high school baseball career have taught me many things. My freshman year our team only won six games, but my sophomore year we won our division championship. The experience has taught me to not only continuously work at my baseball game, but also how to be a good teammate. I've learned that it often takes sacrifice to make a team better, and that is something I am willing to do for a team at the collegiate level. I have had several teammates who are now playing college baseball teach me what my work ethic and leadership abilities should look like to be successful after high school. My goal is to play for a school where I can continue to grow in my baseball abilities and in the classroom. I believe I have the tools to help contribute to the success of teams both on and off the field. I have played two sports while maintaining my grades, and I believe I can translate that success to the college level.
