Esteban Nakashima '19 Recruiting Profile

I have always had my eyes set on playing baseball at the college level. My goal is to attend and play baseball while completing a 4 year program majoring in Kinesiology. I am hard-working, goal driven, and focused on my sport. I'm a team player with good sportsmanship and a positive mindset. All of those qualities make up not only a good candidate, but good athlete. Academics have always come before my sport. I believe that academics are one of the most important factors to my future. It is important to me to not only be a good athlete, but also a good student. Onto the topic of athletics. I do whatever it takes to win. I know game situations, and how to think quickly. I know my game, and how it can get to you. Because of that, I have always picked up and motivated my teammates along with myself in game situations! I put my all into the sport and truly dedicate myself to it. As for my character, I would describe myself as dedicated, driven, and motivated to reach my goals in life. In addition, I would say I'm very caring and thoughtful; I care and value family & friends and want nothing but the best for them. With all of this being said, I look forward to hopefully hearing back soon & possibly getting the chance to play for you!
