Like most high school prospects looking to play baseball at the collegiate level, I have been playing baseball every spring and fall season since I was 5 years old. In the break between Little League and high school I played with a travel ball team, the Corona Reds. By the time I went to my high school freshman orientation I was becoming a bit jaded with baseball. I felt I needed something more. So, I joined the football team and played both sports freshman through junior year. Playing football got me stronger, gained me speed, and I feel made me a better all-round athlete. But during my Junior year and the craziness of dealing with COVID, I realized I needed to look to my future. As a senior I am now focused solely on my first love, baseball. I am not only working in team practices daily, but am working with a private coach five days a week to hone my pitching skills and improve my velocity and accuracy. My goal is to top 90 mph before the end of my senior year. I believe my work ethic, my drive to succeed, and my love of the sport makes me a great prospect for any college coach with the skill and desire to build me into the athlete I know I will become.
