My name is Bryce Lopez. I am a Senior at West Campus High School in Sacramento, CA. Born and raised in the great City of Sacramento, I am 6’0” and weigh 170 lbs. I am currently the Captain on both my high school and club teams, starting pitcher and also play middle infield. Working hard, dedication, keeping my focus and making my parents and family proud of all my accomplishments large or small pretty much define my life. I take pride in my academics as well as all my athletic achievements. No matter the level of competition in the classroom or on/off the field, I continually will do what is essential to make sure I reach and fulfill my goals as a student-athlete while being a team leader and a positive role model to those around me. Playing sports has been a significant part of my life for as long as I could remember. Baseball however has always been my passion. It is a game that I truly love to play and a game that I believe I have excelled at over the years.
Goals and aspirations:
My collegiate goals are to reach the next level both athletically as well as academically and be able to use these experiences and opportunities to become successful in life. As a student-athlete, one of my main goals at the college level is to work and train hard to earn the opportunity to play college baseball. Playing baseball in college and beyond would truly be a dream come true; it’s my heart and soul which is why I continue to remain focused, determined and prepared to put in as much work needed to assist me in achieving this goal set for myself. Another goal is the accomplishment of fulfilling the other half of the term student-athlete. Academically, my plan is to study Criminology, an area which can be used in so many different paths in society. This will allow me to continue being a team leader, supporter and as always make a difference. I truly believe achieving this aspiration will too help guide me through the next chapter in life.
What makes me a good candidate for your team/school?
I strongly believe that I would make a good candidate for your team/organization because I take pride in competing. I like to train and prepare for success no matter the challenge and know that whether it is in the classroom or on the field there is always a job that needs to be done. Most importantly, in addition to being dedicated and committed, I love to compete (I am very competitive) and I like to win. But, what truly sets me apart from others is that I am both a friend and team-player on and off the field. I make it a priority to do my best not only to make myself a better student-athlete, but the people that I stand alongside with as well.
In closing I would absolutely love the opportunity to meet and talk to you about future endeavors with your organization in working towards my next level of accomplishments.
Sincerely,
Bryce Lopez
