Hello, my name is Ayden Rygiel, I am in the class of 2022 and I play outfield.
What are some of my collegiate goals and aspirations?
Some of the goals I have set for myself is to go to a college which won't only challenge me physically while on the field, but will also challenge me mentally in the classroom. I have aspirations of becoming an engineer if baseball doesn't workout in the long run, and I know I can accomplish my goals and aspirations because I am always pushing myself to do great things, on and off the field.
What makes me a good candidate for teams?
My peers around me have always considered me a leader, starting all the way back in Kindergarten and still going this year. All my years of elementary and middle school, I had won the leadership award each year for the work ethic I put in the classroom, the way I treated my peers, and the way I always led by example. The leadership and work ethic has stayed inside of me all these years, and was voted team-captain by my teammates this past season. The feeling of my teammates and peers holding me at a higher standard has always pushed me to keep becoming a better teammate, player, and overall person in life.
What makes me different from other recruits?
What makes me different is while I am confident with my style of play, I am never satisfied and I am always staying ready on ways to improve. This goes for baseball, academics, and my overall character. In baseball, I am always looking for ways to improve my swing, arm, agility, speed, etc. In my academics I am always working to maintain a high grade point average and be the best student I can be. I always strive to be the best, no matter what I am doing, and that is what sets me apart from others.
