I'm not an athlete that will strive for fame or notoriety. What I am is an equal, a teammate that supports, stabilizes, and encourages fellow teammates, I am a Catcher. Surrounded by former minor league players, my uncle Nelson a former catcher, and my father a middle infielder had played in Puerto Rico and taught me how to play, viewing the sport more like a passion than just a game. Because of their guidance and instruction I learned at an early age that I wanted to play at the highest level possible. As a person I have grit, I am persistent and never give up whether it's in the classroom or on the field. During my collegiate athletic career, academically I would strive to become a neurologist. I've always been fascinated by the brain, how it works and why. It's the most important part of the body, so much so that it even named itself. I want to be able to learn as much about it as I can, and solve the problems associated with it. Becoming a neurologist, like a collegiate athlete, won't be easy, but with my years of competitive experience and determination I can confidently say that I can face adversity, overcoming any obstacle in my way.
Can't wait to hear from you soon.
Thank you,
