June 2018 Personal Statement
Baseball has been an important part of my life since the age of five, and my goal is to continue playing at the collegiate level. I am currently a second year varsity starter in my Junior year. Right now I am 6'00” 16 pounds, and still growing. As a sophomore on varsity I had a batting average of 380 in the A league division of the Mount Hamilton League, earning an Honorable Mention award.
My education has also been an important part of my life. I apply 100% effort to both baseball and school and have obtained a 3.63 GPA. I enjoy learning things both on the field and in the classroom. I am grateful for the support I have received from my parents, coaches, and teammates throughout my life as it has helped me become the ballplayer and student I am today.
